- I'm a 3rd year microbio major at UCSD. I did track and soccer in high school, but have now turned to the nonsport of ultimate frisbee. I was born and raised in LA, meaning I'm a big fan of smog, noise, traffic, dirty beaches, and overcrowdedness in general. And while I have taken on the name jouleinthepool, don't let it mislead you. I do not like pools, or oceans, or lakes, or streams, or estuaries, or water in general for that matter. Except for showers. And the occasional puddle. Also, let it be known that in the fall I WILL go out of my way to step on a particularly crunch leaf. go big or go home
